Cremations without Ceremony

Churchills Family Funeral Directors offer families direct cremations, sometimes known as cremations without ceremony. Direct cremations are carried out using a simple coffin and without attendance, offering a straightforward and quiet option.

What is Direct Cremation?

Direct cremation is a simplified alternative to a more traditional funeral offered by our kind and courteous team. This gives relatives the freedom to hold a personal farewell, how and when they choose.

If you’re hoping to have a quiet cremation for your loved one, then you may wish to consider a direct cremation. Our experienced team of compassionate professionals will be able to offer help and guidance as and when you need it.

You’ll be able to discuss the option of cremations without ceremony, along with any other queries you have, with our supportive and sympathetic team. If a simple cremation is something you’re considering, get in touch with us when you’re ready – we’re proud to serve Barnet, Hadley Wood, Whetstone and the surrounding areas.

COVID-19

COVID-19 Update

Funeral services are currently continuing to be held but due to the extreme seriousness of the situation we have been instructed to limit the number of mourners attending services. As these instructions are changing daily please call us for clarification. This decision has been made to enable people to keep to the government's recommended distance from each other in order to limit the risk of infection.

We will be encouraging funeral arrangements to be made by appointment with a maximum of 2 people visiting our office but with a preference for arranging as much as possible by telephone or email.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.
